The Tristan Smith Series started out as a single book which had more than a 1000 pages. After learning that it was too
long to get published I broke it down into a 6-book series.

I published the first book, "Tristan Smith and The Alien Building Site" on line, because I couldn't cut it down enough to
get it into the 85,000 to 120,000 word sweet spot that publishers are looking for. As I progressed to update book 2 to
include two new sex scenes and two more battles, to keep up the Tavaskian presence,I realized that the 2nd book was right
in the middle of the sweet spot at 103,000 words. When I finished, I hired an editor during the Summer of 2018:

Marina Malidzanovic, an English Master from Montreal, Quebec.

She was very thoughtful in her editing, even to the point of suggesting her own ideas.

While I waited for her edit, I hired an artist:

Mrs. Kathy Wellman, an Illustrator, from Almonte, Ontario

to draw the front cover. She did a wonderful job reading over the scene from the book and then bringing it to life.

When she was finished, I rehired my previous artist:

Miss Olivia Arden, a Graphic Artist from Calgary, Alberta,

to put the book cover together.

Then, on September 23, 2018, twelve years and a few months after starting the project, book two received a five-star rating
from, "Readers' Favorite", an online book store. That makes two in a row to get a five-star rating.

Now, I am in search of a publisher and a literary agent since the book is the right size.
