Prom Wars

Prom Wars is a movie about 2 boy's schools that compete to take the girl's school, 
which happens to be between them, to the prom. Cory and another 11 year old boy named (Censored by Parents) 
appear throughout the movie to add some comic relief to the story. One of the boy's schools is 
rich and is called Lancaster Academy. They are well dressed, clean cut, and disciplined. The other 
boy's school is poor and is call Selby House. They are shabily dressed, akward looking, and 
undisciplined. Cory represents Lancaster and (The other boy) is from Selby. Cory's name in the movie is 
Jasper. (The other boy) is called Kyle. Jasper and Kyle appear during the competition and discuss 
the progress of the war. The film will play in 70 cinema in Canada and possibly some in the United States. 
The shooting wrapped up at the beginning of November 2006 so it will take between 8 to 12 months to 
make it to the silver screen. UNFORTUNATELY, CORY RECEIVED A PHONE CALL IN MAY 2007 FROM HIS AGENT, WHO TOLD
HIM THAT HIS PART AND THAT OF THE OTHER 11 YEAR OLD WERE DROPPED FROM THE MOVIE BECAUSE THE DIRECTOR THOUGHT
THEY NO LONGER FIT THE DIRECTION THAT THE MOVIE WAS HEADING.

the farm hand and the mother of Cory. Unfortunately the scene where the Actor greets Gérard Depardieu  
as he arrives home in a blizzard was cut from the film. More unfortunate, the Actress never got to act at all. 
Her part was removed completely from the movie.

Cinar Studios made 16 episodes to play on the Public Brodcasting Station (PBS) in the Summer of 2002.

Since there are no commercials on PBS TV they needed to fill up the space reserved for 
commercials. They had the children singing and dancing to songs to fill in the time for 
1 commercial break of each of the episodes.
